It is an unconventional way of using clay bricks to construct into walkway pavement. Clay brick is usually used for erecting wall. Putting on your thinking hat, bricks pavement can turn out to be a creative one! They can turn into timeless herringbone pattern meanwhile adding to its interlocking strengthens. Some of the benefits of using clay bricks as pavement are : –
- Great choice for slip resistance
- Colour strength for its colour is from natural clay material, limited effect to UV sun ray
- Environmental friendly choice of product for it is made of clay material
On the other hand, using clay bricks would also meant of limited choice of sizes (the usual size of clay brick in Malaysia is 215 x 96 x 70 mm), and subject to size variances for each piece of the clay brick may have variances in sizes which making them more challenging to install.
